I chose 5th grade Social Studies under standard SS.5.A.5 . From there, I chose the American Revolution. I am critiquing a lesson plan found under the title: "A 'Revolutionary' Approach to Learning History". I think this lesson plan is a great tool to use. It has things like Concept Questions as well as how a teacher may choose to actually teach the subject, and Guiding Activities. I think this is an awesome use of technology. Not only as an educator, by using this website to help you with the way you teach. But also for students, as there are many links,videos, and pictures that are also found on this lesson plans that can be made available to students to look at through a device. Another thing I like about this lesson plan is how thorough it is. It has day by day plans, advise, key concepts, and suggested activities. In addition to this, the many links it offers leads to articles, videos, and pictures.
